Wendyjo accepted Christ into her heart after a Youth Conclave (Conference) in August of 1979 at Sandy Valley Baptist Temple in Magnolia, Ohio under Pastor and Mrs. Duane Kerr and their family.

She attended Baptist University of America in Decatur, Georgia from 1981-1983 and in 2011 she graduated with the academic honor of Salutatorian at the Arts Institute in Winston-Salem, NC.

She served the Lord in Christian Education from 1985-2009. Her call to ministry was realized when she started serving in the Gospel Light RU Recovery chapter in January 2010.  She traveled alongside her husband, Bobby Householder, as an RU missionary from 2013 to 2016, when Bobby graduated to heaven.

She now serves as Director of Hope4TheHurting ministries.  Hope4theHurting exists to help women battling a crisis in their life as well as help churches reach others with the gospel.  Wendyjo ministers as a ladies’ speaker, Bible college speaker, ladies’ soul winning team leader, and as an RU missionary who travels to help local chapters in various ways.

She has determined to do whatever work the Lord provides since beginning this journey! In May of 2018, she graduated Salutatorian with a bachelor degree in Bible and Church Ministries for Women from Atlantic Coast Baptist College.

Wendyjo is blessed with six adult children and seven grandchildren whom she loves dearly. God has been so good!
